Dr. Raymond C. Willis was born in the City of Detroit to Tressa J. Willis and the late Donald Henderson. Dr. Willis is the Pastor of the Williams Memorial Baptist Church, in Detroit, MI.
He was educated in the Detroit school system graduating in 2003 from the Trombley Technical High School.
 
Dr. Willis is in love with the Lord and desires to know all there is about God’s word and how to serve this present age. The charge given in Matthew 28: 19-20 to Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the world, has shaped Rev. Willis’s love for people, ministry and desire to study God’s word, so that he may serve effectively and efficiently in his presentation of the Gospel, reach the lost and encourage and enrich the saved.
 
Raymond received a rich, sound theological and doctrinal up bringing from Rev. John D. Kelly, the Late Pastor of the Elyton Missionary Baptist Church. This is where his hunger for higher Christian education began. Raymond received his calling into the Gospel ministry in 2003 and in 2010 Rev. Raymond Willis was ordained as a minister in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
 
The Lord has blessed Rev. Raymond Willis to continue to perfect his gift by serving as the Director of Music, Performing Arts Ministry Leader and Bible Study Teacher at Macedonia Baptist Church, under the powerful leadership of Pastor Charles D. Twymon is Pastor.
 
As one who shows himself approved, Rev Willis has completed of 20 certificate programs and has earned a Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate of Theology from Omega Bible Institute and Seminary.
 
Raymond Willis is married to his friend, companion and greatest supporter Arkena Willis. They have three beautiful children, Camille, Braniyla and Raymond, Jr.
